Funny story... we were all wearing our Air Jordans from the previous fight, the ones with like 2 inch rubber souls, and then were all like "dude, why the hell did the electricity just stop channeling like that?" Thankfully someone in the guild went to college and pointed out the problem 8 or 10 hours later.
